ONE MB SHORT OF A GIG
1023MB makes electronic music for people who spend all week inside systems. The project runs on a single idea: almost, but not quite — the missing megabyte that turns a technical joke into a full creative universe.
The album ONE MB SHORT OF A GIG is written as a single night: sunset, boot, login, production, overload, sunrise. Fifteen tracks that move from acoustic chillout and organic house through melodic and progressive territory into peak-time energy, then back out into balearic daylight.
Live, the material is rebuilt. The Extended Club System replaces album arrangements with longer intros and reconstructed drops, sequenced against the show phases so the room and the visuals move together.
The visual identity — monoline waveform, deep navy, mono type, system status language — is deliberately restrained. The references are for the people who get them; the music works for everyone else.
The joke is the entry point. The music is the product. The community is the brand.
